Stacked 5el. 2m yagis 25Ω/3m boom length according to DK7ZB design
This antennas are each 2 yagis coupled together with Aircell 5 each 25Ω to 50Ω. For a group of 4 antennas like I have stacked vertically you are getting with ground gain (minimum 6m above ground) nearly 20dB(D). For a group of 2 you can connect your coax cable direct; for a group of 4 you need a 2-way power splitter to have one coax line. For the chokes you need 2 x 2.04m Aircell 5 to have a impedance of 2 x 25Ω = 50Ω.
I own 2 of that groups especially for contesting (one on the 17m tower and one on a helping mast). That antennas have a very wide horizontal angle which is ideal to get the mass of the stations in a contest. Since I use that antennas my result increased dramatically. Also for meteor scatter it’s ideal to catch a wide range of reflections by meteors you never will get by sharp antennas like GØKSC LFA’s.
I made a small builder that can be downloaded here: DK7ZB_4x5el_25Ohm_2m_boom.pdf The original builder description can be found at DK7ZB’s homepage at http://www.mydarc.de/dk7zb/PVC-Yagis/2x25_ohm.htm If you have any question about how to build or you need some help just drop me a email.
