I have been qrv on 2m at the 16.10.2011. In fact I wanted to do some tests with my K3 and the HA1YA transverter but I was surprised with great tropo conditions to Spain and England. As in Spain has been at the same time a contest a good quantity of stations was qrv. EA1BLA/p from IN53 square was my QDX with a distance of 1405km. He had a 59+10 signal and also most of the other EA’s have been real 59 ! I was copying the GB3VHF beacon with maximum of 559 – normal I don’t hear it. Not many stations from G have been qrv but the tropo duct only reached the south of England. See below my QSO map and a QSO listing with QSO’s >500km.
